Eligibility requirements
The awards are intended to recognize research undertaken by applicants while registered as students, postdoctoral fellows or medical scientists in training at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Submission deadline is January 31st, 2023, 11:59PM EST.
Graduate/Medical students
Students must be registered in a training/graduate program in The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine to be eligible to apply. Applicants who graduated before September 1, 2022 are not eligible.
Postdoctoral fellows
Postdoctoral fellows must be registered in the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine to be eligible to apply. Clinical fellows from basic science departments and clinical departments in the School of Medicine, and house staff from the Johns Hopkins Hospital are eligible. Applicants who have left Hopkins before September 1, 2022 are not eligible. Postdoctoral applicants who have been promoted to Research Associate (non-tenure track faculty) are eligible if their total time as a postdoctoral researcher does not exceed 7 years.
